Terms of Service
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using Bharat Refer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter into a contract in India.
2. Your account
- Give us accurate information, and keep it accurate
- One person, one account. Accounts created to inflate referrals will be closed.
- Your account is yours. Do not share your login, and tell us if it is compromised.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Earnings, referrals and commission
You earn through referrals, partner offers and platform activity, on the terms shown at the time of the activity.
- Commission is confirmed only after the partner confirms the underlying transaction. Until then it is pending, and pending is not earned.
- A transaction that is cancelled, returned, refunded or found to be fraudulent will have its commission reversed, including after it was credited.
- Rates, offers and campaign rules can change. Changes apply from the date they are published, not retroactively to activity already completed.
- We may withhold or reverse earnings we reasonably believe were obtained by fraud, by self-referral, by fake accounts, or by manipulating tracking.
4. KYC and withdrawals
- KYC must be completed and approved before you can withdraw. This is a legal requirement on us, not a preference.
- Withdrawals go to the verified bank account or UPI ID in your KYC, and nowhere else.
- We may hold a withdrawal while we investigate a genuine concern about fraud, and we will tell you when we do.
- Bank and payment partners set their own processing times. We do not control them.
- Details you provide must be your own. Withdrawing to somebody else's account is not allowed.
5. Connect — messaging and calls
- Media is deleted after 3 days. This is how the service is built, not a fault. Back up anything you want to keep — the app offers backup to your own Google Drive, and keeps a copy on your phone of media you have viewed.
- Do not use Connect to send anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, or infringing. Do not use it for spam or bulk unsolicited messaging.
- Where end-to-end encryption is on, we cannot read your messages. That also means we cannot recover them for you, and cannot moderate their content directly. We act on reports and on account behaviour instead.
- We may suspend Connect access for an account that is reported and found to be abusing it.
6. What you may not do
- Create fake accounts, or refer yourself through another identity
- Manipulate tracking links, cookies or referral attribution
- Misrepresent Bharat Refer or a partner to get somebody to sign up or transact
- Attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the platform
- Scrape, resell or redistribute platform data
- Use the service for anything illegal
Breaking these can mean suspension, forfeiture of pending earnings, closure of your account, and where the law requires it, a report to authorities.
7. Partner offers
Offers are provided by third-party merchants. Your purchase is with them, on their terms. Delivery, quality, returns and refunds are their responsibility. We track the transaction so you are paid your commission; we are not a party to the sale.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. Maintenance, failures and problems at partners or payment providers can all interrupt it. We are not liable for loss caused by an interruption.
9. Closing an account
You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may close or suspend an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to.
On closure, confirmed earnings already due to you remain payable subject to KYC. Pending earnings that have not been confirmed by a partner are not payable. Records we are legally required to keep are kept — see the Privacy Policy.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the confirmed earnings due to you at the time of the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for loss of data that you could have backed up.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app and the effective date above will change. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts having jurisdiction at [registered office].
Before going to court, please raise the matter with us — most things are resolved that way.
